AGGREGATED DATA
The only resource to contain the combined natural wonders from most major sources:
– New7Wonders
– CNN 7 Natural Wonders of the World
– UNESCO World Heritage
– National Parks, SSSIs, plus numerous protected areas and sites of geological significance.
GROWING DATABASE
There are currently over 400 natural wonders included, but the list expands with each new app release, through research and community suggestions.
LOCAL INSIGHT
Each wonder is supplemented by local knowledge and traveller tips, with a helpful 'notes' section for visitors.
CONTINUED DEVELOPMENT
New features are in the pipeline for future app releases:
– Know which sites you have visited with a natural wonder checklist.
– Rate and review natural wonders to help other travellers.
– Make visits to natural wonders easier with integrated Google Maps directions.
– Find exactly the natural wonders you are looking for with additional filters.
– View entire trekking routes, mapped from the trailhead marker.
– Information on the nearest cities and easiest way to access each natural wonder.
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. This can be deactivated in the settings.
